||Interocular transfer of a chromatic frequency shift: Temporal constraints.
In 2 experiments, with 24 naive Ss, interocular transfer of a chromatic version of the C. Blakemore and P. Sutton (see record 1971-03287-001) spatial-frequency shift was not obtained with long, steady (3,000 msec) test presentation, but occurred when the test was brief (400 msec) or flickering. However, interocular transfer of achromatic spatial frequency adaptation occurred with long, steady tests as well as with brief or flickering tests. Results show that interocular transfer of color-related effects can be obtained under certain circumstances. (30 ref) (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2007 APA, all rights reserved)
