||Exploration des objets et interaction mere-bebe: Une etude longitudinale entre 3 et 5 mois.
Longitudinally studied the shift between an initial interest toward mother and the exploration of objects in 30 mother-infant dyads. The infants were aged 3-5 mo of age. Ss were observed at home during everyday activities and the infant's focus of attention, and maternal interventions on that attention were coded from videorecordings. It was found that the interest in objects increases from 3 to 5 mo, while looks to mother decrease; however, no intra-dyad stability is seen. The possible role of the development of prehension, and the relevance of a differential approach are discussed according to Trevarthen's theoretical framework.
