||Attente et adaptation a la durée chez l'enfant.
A DRL procedure was used to examine the ability to adapt to delay and duration among children aged 18 mo to 7 yrs. Ss' ability to judge time lapse in relation to the time required to complete another task was also assessed. Results show that younger Ss required some sort of task reinforcement to assimilate the information given about the waiting period, while older Ss were better able to judge time relationships. Findings illustrate several levels in the development of cognitive factors involved in time estimation. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2007 APA, all rights reserved)
